"Are you kidding me?" Dad`s voice cracked with disbelief as he stared at Eileen. "Please, Dad.

Everything is changing—the government, the pandemic, all the other crazy stuff happening.

You understand this better than anyone, don`t you?" Eileen`s words tumbled out in a rush, betraying her desperation. Dad rubbed his temples, the gesture familiar to all four girls.

"Converting all your assets to cash? That`s an incredibly dangerous move, sweetheart.

Cash can disappear in countless ways—theft, loss, inflation.

I`m terrified of what`s happening with government spending right now, but I`m not convinced cash is your safest bet.

Its value can plummet just as fast as stocks or bonds." Ella leaned forward, her green eyes intense.

"Okay then.

Twenty percent in cash, and the rest in gold, silver, and precious stones." A smile ghosted across Dad`s weathered face.

"Now you`re talking sense, Ella.

I`m proud of you for thinking it through.

Do you want certificates, or are you planning to hold the physical bullion?" "We want the physical metals," Roxanna said firmly, her voice carrying an authority that seemed beyond her fifteen years. Dad`s brow furrowed.

"But where will you store it? If it gets stolen, you`re completely screwed—there`s no insurance, no way to recover it.

And if the economy crashes, the government might try to seize private holdings.

It could even become illegal tender." "Don`t worry about storage," Ella said, exchanging a meaningful glance with her sisters.

"We have a secure location that even the government doesn`t know about." Dad studied their faces, searching for something he couldn`t quite name.

"Let me think about this.

As executor of your trust funds, I need to understand the legal implications." "Time is critical," Ella pressed.

"Can we execute this today?" "Now you`re really scaring me." Dad`s voice dropped to a whisper.

"Who planted this idea? Was it one of those TikTok financial gurus?" Helana shook her head, her dark hair catching the morning light.

"No, Dad.

We`re genuinely nervous about all the changes—the new administration, the chaos across the country.

If we wait too long, it might be too late." Dad sighed heavily.

"Well, there`s not much in your accounts at your age anyway, so I suppose the risk is minimal.

It`ll be good experience managing your own investments.

Silver`s probably your best bet—I doubt you have enough for even an ounce of gold.

But don`t breathe a word of this to your mother, Eileen, or she`ll have my head.

I`ll still need to approve any cash purchases, so don`t plan any shopping sprees." "Understood," Ella said, rising from her chair.

"Let us know when it`s complete so we can secure everything.

We need to leave now, or we`ll be late for school." Later that afternoon, the four sisters huddled together in their usual spot behind the gymnasium. "They got to him, didn`t they?" Eileen`s voice was barely audible.

"He has no idea how much is actually in those trust funds.

I just hope we can extract it before it all vanishes." Roxanna took a shaky breath.

"I have a confession.

I read Commander Remmick`s mind yesterday." "That`s okay," Ella said gently.

"We have to start somewhere.

What did you discover?" "He`s legitimate—believes everything he told us.

But he`s being manipulated by someone else.

This conspiracy runs deeper than any single government agency." Roxanna paused, her face pale.

"This might not even be entirely human." Helana wrapped her arms around herself, suddenly cold despite the warm afternoon.

"I`ve been avoiding active contact, but I`ve been listening constantly.

Usually, I can sense them—our sisters, Melanie, sometimes even Beaker.

I can`t always hear their thoughts clearly, but I can feel their presence." Her voice broke slightly.

"But now there`s nothing.

Complete silence.

I`m terrified, really terrified.

Where could they be? How could they be blocked so completely? What if they`re—" She couldn`t finish the thought. "Roxanna`s right," Ella said quietly.

"This isn`t human.

`We wrestle not against flesh and blood`—that`s from Ephesians.

Our telepathic connection has been severed, though we can still sense each other.

It`s part of their plan, to make us believe none of this ever happened." She closed her eyes, remembering.

"I got nothing from my dreams last night.

I woke up feeling normal, then it was like someone dropped a crushing weight on my chest.

I got physically sick and couldn`t stop crying." "That`s a classic grief response," Helana observed clinically.

"Not knowing if our sisters are alive or dead—it`s actually worse than knowing for certain.

I`m hoping they`re just occupied with some special mission, too focused to think about us." Eileen straightened, steel entering her voice.

"It`s like miners trapped after a cave-in.

We don`t know if they`re alive, but we assume they are and make every effort to reach them.

Our sisters are alive—we have to believe that, and we will find them." She looked at each of her sisters in turn.

"We`re only fifteen, but we can`t afford to be children anymore.

Our childhood ended yesterday.

We have to become adults, or this isn`t going to work." "I feel twenty-five already," Helana admitted.

"But I`m still scared and sick to my stomach." "Wouldn`t it be wonderful if this were just an operation designed by Beaker? Some kind of advanced training exercise?" Eileen`s voice carried desperate hope. "I doubt it," Ella said softly.

"But if it is, let`s make him proud." Ezekiel As the girls walked toward the school parking lot, a familiar voice drifted from behind them. "In grave danger, you are." Ella spun around and let out a small cry of joy.

"Ezekiel! You came! I actually prayed for you to come to us." The figure stepped from the shadows between two buildings—tall, ethereal, with eyes that seemed to hold starlight.

"Not long can I remain here," Ezekiel said, his voice carrying harmonics that seemed to resonate in their bones.

"In danger you are, but strong you must be.

Powerful forces array against you, but powerful forces also offer protection." "What should we do?" Roxanna asked, her scientific mind warring with the evidence of her eyes. "Ezekiel does not know.

What you do must be determined by your own hearts and minds," the being replied.

He extended his hand, revealing four small golden coins that seemed to glow with inner light.

"Take these.

They are focusing artifacts.

Touch them when you need clarity or knowledge.

Ezekiel must depart now.

This place grows dangerous, even for one such as I." "Wait—magic coins? That`s it?" Eileen called out, but Ezekiel was already fading like morning mist. Helana picked up one of the coins, feeling its surprising warmth.

"They`re focusing artifacts," she said thoughtfully.

"Many religious traditions use similar tools.

They help quiet and center the mind, allowing connection with deeper knowledge.

The true power lies within your spirit—the artifact simply helps you access it." Roxanna nodded slowly, cradling her coin.

"These were delivered by an angel.

Don`t underestimate their significance, even if the power ultimately comes from within us.

Use them with prayer and meditation, and answers will come." "Did Ezekiel just say it wasn`t safe for him here?" Eileen`s voice was small.

"If an angel isn`t safe, what does that mean for us?" Eileen`s phone buzzed urgently.

Dad`s name flashed on the screen. "Girls, I need you home immediately," his voice was strained, almost panicked.

"Something`s happened." "What the hell is going on?" Dad stood in the living room, his face ashen, hands trembling slightly. "What do you mean?" Eileen asked carefully. "I contacted the bank and investment advisors to liquidate your accounts as requested.

They`re delivering the gold and silver tomorrow morning via armored truck." His voice rose with each word.

"There are literally pounds of precious metals.

Over half a million dollars.

Where did you get that kind of money? Did you rob a bank? Who`s been making these deposits? Are you involved in drugs? Weapons trafficking?" The sisters exchanged glances.

Dad was genuinely terrified, and they couldn`t blame him. "We`re not criminals, but we can`t explain," Eileen said gently.

"It isn`t safe for you to know the details." "You can`t tell me? I can`t let you disappear into the woods with half a million in gold bullion! I need to understand what`s happening to my daughters!" Helana stepped forward, her voice soft but clear.

"Dad, do you remember when we talked about UFO phenomena? Military abductions? Secret space programs? Alien agendas? Do you remember discussing memory suppression techniques?" She watched his face carefully.

"You know—or knew—that we were part of a classified government program with the US Navy.

If you don`t remember those conversations, then your memory has been altered.

I`m sorry, but we`re all in danger, and we have to secure these assets before they disappear." Roxanna`s voice echoed in her sisters` minds: "Touch your artifacts and focus on calming him.

We need to protect him from information that could get him killed." The four girls discretely touched their golden coins, closing their eyes briefly and concentrating on peace, on love, on their father`s safety and tranquility. Dad blinked several times, then smiled.

"You know what? I think I`ll order pizza for dinner.

Go upstairs and get your mother so we can eat together." "Are you okay, Dad?" Eileen asked hesitantly. "Of course.

Why wouldn`t I be?" Dad looked genuinely puzzled by the question.

Hello Diary, It`s me, Ella Well, I got the validation I desperately needed.

I prayed for Ezekiel, and he appeared with powerful artifacts.

I got my glitch in the matrix—proof that our memories are real, that this is all connected to a government operation.

It wasn`t fabricated. They also clearly didn`t know about the trust fund, or it would have vanished along with everything else.

Glitch number two. I wonder why they didn`t perform a memory wipe on us like they did with Dad and Mom.

Maybe they couldn`t penetrate our minds, so they needed our voluntary cooperation for their "therapy" sessions. I don`t feel quite so scared anymore.

I still don`t know our next move, but maybe my prophetic dreams will return.

Tonight, I`ll hold my focusing coin while I sleep and see what answers come. The game has changed, but we`re still players.

And now we have tools they don`t know about.

When Roxanna is awakened by mysterious interdimensional beings called `Visitors` who implant coordinates directly into her mind, she and her sisters Ella, Eileen, and Helena embark on a mission that leads them to stash gold bars in a Civil War-era cave and travel to New York. There they discover that Commander Beaker and therapist Melanie—key figures from their previous supernatural operations—have had their memories completely wiped, forcing the girls to kidnap the only remaining witness, Agent Remmick, to help uncover the conspiracy behind the mind-wipe coverup.

Refusing his offer of `therapeutic intervention` to erase these allegedly fabricated memories, the girls retreat to plan their own investigation, determined to uncover the truth about what's happening to them while protecting their families from potential memory manipulation.
